We’re proud to announce Martin Spang Olsen as our first speaker for our next event TEDxCopenhagenSalon ‘Inspire Learning’ at Statens Museum for Kunst (National Gallery of Denmark) November 24th 2014.

One of the fastest ways to better education, and in turn a better society, is to strengthen the sensory apparatus of children, says sensory trainer, writer, and polymath Martin Spang Olsen.

All learning goes through the senses – it’s impossible to learn in any other way. Martin believes that our quality of life, our health, our focus, our creativity, and all our intelligences are deeply dependent on sensorial refinement, and that we can strengthen any aspect of our lives through sensory training. By training methods that synthesize sound, emotions, and physical movement we can sharpen our senses to promote both a higher working performance and a higher quality of life.

It is through the senses that we create our reality, so the quality of our sensory input defines the quality of our experience of that reality, he explains.
