Scouting is a true worldwide movement. Try travelling from Greenland to South Africa, and from New Zealand to USA and you will be able to find members of the scouting organisation.
Most people know what scouts do. But do they know why they do it? Since age 6 Signe has been a scout and for the last 10 years a scout leader – and she knows exactly why she does it.

Awesome in every thinkable way. The learning and experience of taking charge in valuebased youth organizations changes lives and the output is increased GDPs alongside with valuebased and experienced leaders in every nation – and in INGOS etc. What is not to like, endorse and emphasize even further?
In a world of crisis and regression, the non-formal valuebased learning in civil society might and ought to be on of the most important tools to ensure cohersion, innovation and progress for all nations.
Watch out for the future – watch out for the scouts and the other youth organizations.

Considero que es increíblemente difícil explicar a los demás el por qué somos scouts, pero esta scouter es asombrosa en su descripción, la pasión con la que habla de este movimiento es admirable.
Ella es uno de los adultos increíbles que propone. Justamente con niños que siempre se ven distanciados de los adultos, esa continuidad nos convierte, como scouters, en los referentes que podemos lograr cambios en ellos. Sin duda, una gran responsabilidad, un desafío por el que vale la pena arriesgarse.
